Auxerre preview: Concerns for Auxerre
Having gained promotion back to the top-flight in Ligue 1 during the 2023/24 campaign, Auxerre then managed to steer themselves into the middle-of-the-table last season, with slight concerns of stagnation leading to a relegation battle.
Still under the management of Christophe Pelissier, the home team come into this one on the back of three successive defeats at the start of this season. They most recently suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Monaco in their most recent outing.
Toulouse preview: Entertaining Toulouse

The visitors come into this one on the back of back-to-back wins to kick off the campaign, but they have now suffered back-to-back losses. They most recently suffered a 2-1 defeat to Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the north of France last weekend.

Auxerre vs Toulouse prediction
Auxerre performed well last season but their performances and results certainly dipped in the second-half of the campaign. That regression is expected to continue over the course of this season. Toulouse play a nice style of football themselves and they will seek to get on the front foot here, and they will also fancy getting themselves back on track with a victory at Stade l’Abbe Deschamps.
