Austin begin the weekend sitting second-from-bottom in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. They have enjoyed an impressive CONCACAF Leagues Cup league phase victories with back-to-back victories before defeating Mexican giants Club America on penalties.
Dallas come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Toluca the other day after they had beaten both Queretaro and Guadalajara. Domestically, they sit sixth in the Western Conference ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Austin will take confidence from their recent form and this should actually end up being relatively evenly matched with both teams scoring seeming a decent bet.
