Athletic Bilbao vs Paris Saint-Germain prediction

Paris Saint-Germain average almost four goals per game over the course of this 2025-26 league phase so far, which has no doubt gone a long way to explaining why the reigning Champions League winners sit pretty inside the top eight and still have a chance of finishing top of the table come the end of the league phase early next year.

In contrast, Athletic Bilbao boast just a single victory so far this season in Europe, losing three with their most recent game away to lowly Slavia Prague ending in a goalless draw. Only three teams have scored less goals across the league stage than the hosts, who’ve only managed to find the net four times, an average of less than a goal per game.

The offense prowess of PSG should continue to see them dominate opponents and plenty of chances are likely to be created by their plethora of creative, direct talent. Whether it be Vitinha, Kvaratskhelia or Joao Neves, it’s hard to see Bilbao being able to contain their opponents across a full 90 minutes, so be sure to back a PSG victory.

Athletic Bilbao vs Paris Saint-Germain Tip: Paris Saint-Germain to win
