Arthur Fils vs Stefanos Tsitsipas prediction

Arthur Fils breezed through his second-round encounter, giving up just one break point as he raced to a 6-2 6-2 win over Tallon Griekspoor. The young Frenchman returned to winning ways after his surprising defeat at the same stage of the Madrid Open two weeks ago.

He takes on Stefanos Tsitsipas in the next round after the two-time Grand Slam finalist defeated Alexandre Muller 6-2 7-6. The Greek needs a deep run at the event after a poor month on the clay which has seen him drop out of the top 10 of the world rankings for the first time since October 2018.

Unfortunately for Tsitsipas, his record against Fils is not a good one as he trails the 20-year-old 3-0 in the head-to-head. Their last encounter took place just a few weeks ago in Barcelona, but Tsitsipas was forced to retire early on due to an issue with his back.
