Arsenal have a busy week as they return to Premier League action with the visit of Fulham to the Emirates Stadium in a London derby on Saturday evening.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch online: UK – Sky Go / USA – Peacock

Arsenal preview: UCL distraction

Arsenal come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Metropolitano in midweek, with Viktor Gyokeres’ penalty cancelled out by a spot kick from Julian Alvarez.

The Gunners took advantage of Manchester City’s involvement in the FA Cup last weekend as they defeated Newcastle United by a goal to nil to mean they can go six points clear for at least 48 hours before City face Everton on Monday night.

Fulham preview: Mid-table Cottagers

Marco Silva and his Fulham side kept their European aspirations alive as the Cottagers defeated Aston Villa by a goal to nil at Craven Cottage last weekend, courtesy of a first-half strike scored by Ryan Sessegnon.

Fulham begin the 35th match day of the campaign sitting just a point behind seventh placed AFC Bournemouth and just two outside of the top six – which could be enough for UEFA Champions League qualification if Aston Villa win the UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal team news: Tough to call

Further details will appear here following pre-match press conferences.

Bukayo Saka started on the bench again in midweek and it may now be time for Mikel Arteta to take a risk and start him here, with a view to him being fully fit for the second-leg against Atletico.

Riccardo Calafiori has returned to full fitness and may also start here as Arteta slightly rotates to ensure players remain fresh for the dramatic Premier League run in.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Zubimendi; Saka, Eze, Trossard; Gyokeres

Unavailable: Timber (Injured), Merino (Injured), Havertz (Injured)

Fulham team news: Sessegnon a doubt

Further details will appear here following pre-match press conferences.

After his winning goal last weekend, Ryan Sessegnon is now a doubt for this one after picking up a slight injury against the Villans in west London.

Kenny Tete is working his way back to full fitness and he could be involved here, while versatile midfielder Alex Iwobi remains sidelined alongside club-record signing Kevin.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Chukwueze; Jimenez

Unavailable: Iwobi (Injured), Kevin (Injured)

Questionable: Tete (Injured), Sessegnon (Injured)

Arsenal vs Fulham prediction

Arsenal have become extremely nervous of late, which is becoming an annual tradition at this time of year. The Gunners’ 1-1 draw with Atletico in midweek means that they have now won two of their last eight matches across all competitions – both 1-0 victories against Sporting CP and then Newcastle United. Fulham will believe they can add to the stress and pressure being felt by the hosts but an Arsenal win remains the likeliest outcome, albeit with yet another low-scoring encounter in the capital city.

Arsenal vs Fulham tip: Arsenal to win & under 3.5 goals
