Key Stats

  • Angola have won only one of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (D6 L3).
  • Mauritius have won only two of their previous 27 World Cup qualifying matches (D5 L20).

Angola vs Mauritius Prediction

Angola come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Libya in their most recent outing the other day. The Angolans have managed just one win in their seven FIFA World Cup qualifiers, sitting nine adrift of group leaders Cape Verde with just nine points to play for.

In what is a weak group that consists of Eswatini, Mauritius remain one of the weaker sides in Group D, but they have performed admirably to begin the eighth match day of qualification sitting just two points behind Angola. They most recently suffered a 2-0 loss at home to Cape Verde.

Mauritius have perhaps overperformed, whilst Angola have declined quite rapidly, but the hosts have to remain favourites for a low quality affair.

Angola vs Mauritius Tip: Angola to win & under 3.5 goals
