Andrey Rublev vs Hamad Medjedovic prediction

Andrey Rublev charged into the semi finals with an impressive showing against Tomas Machac.

The Russian was rock solid throughout as he conjured up a 6-4 6-3 victory over the Czech.

Fifth seed Rublev will now face world number 88 Hamad Medjedovic, who powered to a 7-6 6-2 win over Nuno Borges.

This will be their first meeting and it is a tricky one to call. Rublev has been vulnerable with ups and downs in matches, but he has shown real consistency this week.

Meanwhile, Hamad is playing some wonderful tennis and continually defying the odds with a run of upsets.

Can the Serb do it again?

Well, if Andrey plays his best tennis throughout, it will be a tall order, but if he feels tension he can often cave under pressure, so there is scope for Medjedovic to deliver here.
