Amanda Anisimova vs Iga Swiatek prediction

Iga Swiatek will be bidding for a sixth Grand Slam title and a first at Wimbledon when she meets Amanda Anisimova in the 2025 final.

The Pole booked her spot in the Saturday showdown for the trophy with a sizzling 6-2 6-0 win over Belinda Bencic and looks like a different player on the grass this year. 

The eighth seed’s opponent will be 13th seed Anisimova who reached her maiden major final with an outstanding 6-4 4-6 6-4 triumph over world number one Aryna Sabalenka. 

The American has shown great form on grass coming into the tournament with deep runs at Queens and in Berlin while Swiatek has continued to build momentum after surprisingly reaching the final in Bad Homburg on the back of some travails on the clay.

Interestingly, this will be their first ever meeting with Anisimova’s greater weapons and overall comfort on the grass making her a solid tip to provide another upset and secure her first Grand Slam title. 

Swiatek has the experience and a perfect record in major finals and is an odds-on favourite, but she has struggled with big-hitters in the past and we feel Anisimova’s greater venom and flawless backhand will be the key to success.

It may well go the distance and the odds on that or Anisimova are the best value for this final.
