Stefanos Tsitsipas was made to battle as he secured a much-needed win against Patrick Kypson.
The Greek fought back to edge the American lucky loser 3-6 7-6 7-6 and tee up a third career meeting with Alexander Bublik.
Tsitsipas leads the head-to-head 2-0 but both of those wins were back in 2020 and it's fair to say much has changed for the two players in recent years, particularly over the past 12 months.
