Alex Molcan vs Mariano Navone prediction

Alex Molcan produced a big upset in the previous round as he dumped top seed Gabriel Diallo out of the tournament with a dominant victory. The qualifier was broken in his first service game and went 2-0 down, only to then win 10 of the next 11 games as he raced clear and won 6-2 6-2 after just one hour and 27 minutes.

He now faces Mariano Navone. The Argentine also enjoyed a comfortable win in the previous round as he beat Elmer Moller in straight sets. Navone was always in control and strolled to a 6-2 6-1 win. He reached the final of this event back in 2024 and is just two matches away from achieving that feat again.

Molcan will be full of confidence after such a brilliant win, but Navone is certainly in form, having won the Cap Cana Challenger last month. He has a more proven record on this surface and is worth backing here.

Alex Molcan vs Mariano Navone tip: Mariano Navone to win
