Alejandro Tabilo vs Rafael Jodar prediction
Rafael Jodar arrives in Paris following a shock elimination in Basel at the hands of Valentin Vacherot last week, and the young Spaniard will be determined to get back to winning ways.
This week he takes on Alejandro Tabilo, whom he met in the opening round in Basel and comfortably dispatched 6-4, 6-2.
That was the fourth time the pair had met in 2026, and Jodar has won the last three of those encounters, with the last two, in Cincinnati and Basel, both comfortable straight-sets wins.
Tabilo is going to have to do something different if the outcome is to change in Paris. The 29-year-old has had no answer to Jodar’s quality, with the Spaniard outplaying him in virtually every facet of the game.
It is hard to see Tabilo approaching this any differently, and we fully expect a motivated Jodar to hit the ground running in Paris and run out a comfortable winner.
