Alexander Zverev vs Alex de Minaur prediction
Alexander Zverev booked his place in the last four of the Vienna Open after outclassing Arthur Fery. These two faced each other at the semi-final stage of Wimbledon this year, with Zverev winning in straight sets, and it was another comfortable win for the German as he claimed a 6-0 6-2 victory this time around. This was his first match since sealing the world number one spot for the first time. The two-time Grand Slam champion will now take on Alex de Minaur.
The Australian beat Matteo Berrettini to set up a meeting with Zverev. De Minaur saved a set point in the first set before edging ahead in the tiebreak. He took control of the second to complete a 7-6 (4) 6-2 win.
Zverev leads the head-to-head 6-4. They faced each other just a few weeks ago in the quarter-final stage of the Shanghai Masters, with Zverev winning 6-4 6-4. I expect the German to come through with another victory against De Minaur.
Alexander Zverev vs Alex de Minaur tip: Alexander Zverev to win 2-0
