This group in UEFA qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup does just about remain open, with England unconvincing and Serbia the same, so Albania should push on.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – FOX Sports

How to watch online: UK – Amazon Prime / US – Disney+

Key stats

  • All the previous six international matches between these teams finished level.
  • Albania have lost only one of their last six World Cup qualifying matches in Albania (W4 D1).
  • Albania have kept five clean sheets in their last six World Cup qualifying matches in Albania.

Albania vs Latvia prediction

Albania come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Gibraltar at the Europa Sports Complex in their most recent outing the other day, courtesy of a 69th minute winning penalty scored by Jasir Asani. They are now unbeaten in four matches since losing 2-0 to England at Wembley Stadium in March.

They face a Latvia side that have yet to collect a point from their FIFA World Cup qualifying group just yet. The Latvians most recently suffered a slender 1-0 loss in a hard-fought encounter against the Serbians, with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic scoring the only goal of the game in the first-half.

Albania are a poor team going forward but they are very solid and have enough quality to see off teams of the quality and pedigree of Latvia, especially in Tirana.

Albania vs Latvia tip: Albania to win & under 3.5 goals
