Alaves vs Villarreal prediction

Quique Sanchez Flores helped Alaves ease themselves to safety last season with an entertaining style of football. They have begun this season well with a 3-0 hammering of Getafe on the opening day of the campaign at home before then sharing a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano at Butarque in Leganes last week.

Inigo Perez left Rayo for Villarreal over the summer with a view to making The Yellow Submarine more intense and enjoyable to watch. After coming from 2-0 down to share a 2-2 draw with newly-promoted Racing Santander, they then shared a draw with Atletico Madrid by the same scoreline in a topsy turvy second half at the Metropolitano.

Alaves have been much better to watch from a neutral perspective since the arrival of Quique Sanchez Flores and both teams scoring seems a very decent bet for this one with Inigo Perez doing the same at Villarreal.

Alaves vs Villarreal tip: Both teams to score
