Al Shabab vs Al Kholood prediction

Al Shabab, now under the management of former Real Sociedad boss Imanol Alguacil, come into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw with Abha in the round of 32 of the Saudi King’s Cup of Champions the other day in a game in which they snatched a penalty shootout victory against lower league opposition after going down to nine men.

They now face an Al Kholood side that had started their season with back-to-back losses in the Saudi Pro League before then defeating Damak by two goals to one last weekend and the visitors were able to back that up by beating Al Bukayriyah in the cup the other day.

Al Shabab have a star studded squad and are one of the strongest teams outside of the so-called ‘big four’ and, despite their poor performances, should still win this one with their home advantage.
