Al Nassr vs Al Riyadh prediction

Al Nassr annihilated Istiklol by five goals to nil to kick off their AFC Champions League group stage campaign the other day. That comes on the back of starting their Saudi Pro League season with back-to-back victories, as they defeated Al Taawon by the same scoreline on the opening day before easing past Al Kholood by two goals to nil.

They now face an Al Riyadh side that have started the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season with a victory and a defeat in their opening two matches. The visitors started with a 2-0 loss away to a strong Al Hilal side on the opening day of the season, before edging past newly-promoted Al Najma by two goals to one at the Al Shabab FC Stadium last week.

Al Riyadh have been steady so far in terms of their performance level, but this is a bit of a mis-match, especially given the form of the hosts, and a comfortable Al Nassr victory is to be expected for this one.
