Al Ahli vs Al Hilal prediction

Coached by Matthias Jaissle, Al Ahli have been underwhelming domestically, but they managed to win the AFC Champions League last season. They come into this one on the back of a thrilling 4-2 defeat of Nasaf in that competition earlier this week, having begun the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season with a draw and a victory.

Al Hilal romped to the 2023/24 Saudi Arabian title without losing a game before then falling behind Al Ittihad last season. Now, with former Internazionale boss Simone Inzaghi in charge, they have also started with a win and a draw. They most recently edged past Qatari outfit Al Duhail in the group stages of the AFC Champions League.

Al Hilal will believe they have more quality than their opponents, but they are still bedding into the Inzaghi way of doing things. It should be quite a fun watch for the neutral, regardless of the end match result.
