The prediction

The regular season table-toppers last year, Adelaide have now lost their last three games, most recently suffering a narrow two-point defeat at the hands of Fremantle in Round 4.

The Crows came close to a memorable comeback against the Dockers as they were 34 points behind during the the third quarter, but it was ultimately another hugely disappointing result for Matthew Nicks' side.

Carlton suffered a disappointing defeat themselves last time out, losing to local rivals North Melbourne by eight points at Marvel Stadium.

The Blues were once again unable guilty of falling away in the fourth quarter as they suffered a third defeat from their four games in the early stages of the 2026 campaign.

Adelaide have massively underperformed so far this season, but given the quality they possess, you feel it is only a matter of time before they kick into gear. Against this unconvincing Blues side, a home victory looks in the offing.
