The prediction

The Adelaide Crows turned in an extremely disappointing performance against the Fremantle Dockers in Perth. After their grinding win against the GWS Giants, the Crows would’ve expected a much better performance than they delivered. 

They now host a Carlton team that is finally starting to live up to the reputation of its star-studded midfield. Patrick Cripps, George Hewett and Sam Walsh shared almost 100 possessions between them and their performances set up the victory with Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow contributing three goals each. They dominated against the Geelong Cats in round seven and came away with a well-deserved 18-point victory. 

The Crows have relied upon a more well-rounded team effort: last week only three players gained more than 20 possessions each. Riley Thilthorpe in front of goals kicked three however defences have started to lockdown against Taylor Walker, and he received only three scoring opportunities.

We think that Carlton can continue their revival and take the points from their trip to Adelaide.
