  • Aberdeen have won only one of their last 16 UEFA competition matches (D7 L8).
  • Aberdeen have lost only five of their last 23 UEFA competition matches at home (W9 D9).
  • Aberdeen have found the net in 21 of their last 22 UEFA competition home matches.
  • Strasbourg have lost just one of their last ten UEFA competition matches (W7 D2) and remain unbeaten this season, with four wins and two draws from six games.
  • Strasbourg have won their previous three UEFA competition matches away from home this season.

Aberdeen vs Strasbourg prediction

Aberdeen remain winless in their opening four matches of this league phase. They began with back-to-back defeats but the Dandies have since steadied with back-to-back draws against AEK Larnaca and then at home to Noah.

Strasbourg, under the management of Liam Rosenior, are a big spending force in French football and they sit second in the table on goal difference in the UECL after an impressive 2-1 defeat of Crystal Palace a couple of weeks ago.

Aberdeen will fancy themselves to provide a bit of a test to the Eagles but Strasbourg have a lot of depth and a strong squad, and they are firm favourites at Pittodrie.
