Wrexham have tripped up at the wrong time as they push for the playoff places in the Championship, as they welcome Stoke City to Wales this week.

Wrexham vs Stoke prediction

Wrexham come into this one in the back of a 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City at St Andrew's last weekend. That means the Red Dragons have now won just one of their last five matches in the second-tier as the big spending Welsh outfit drift from the top six and the playoffs.

Stoke flirted with a sustained promotion challenge at times this season but, rather predictably, the Potters have drifted into a mid-table finish with Mark Robins' side already beginning to look towards next season after a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers at the Bet365 Stadium last week.

The pressure may now be off Wrexham a bit here and so, with home advantage, siding with them to get back on track would appear a good shout for this one.

Wrexham vs Stoke tip: Double chance - Wrexham to win or draw
