Wolverhampton Wanderers are returning to the Championship as they take on a Sunderland side that will seek to bounce back at Molineux on Saturday.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / USA – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – Cannot be streamed / USA – Peacock

Wolves preview: Already down

Rob Edwards' Wolverhampton Wanderers come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Tottenham Hotspur last weekend due to an 82nd minute winner scored by Joao Palhinha.

Wolves had been much-improved in the last couple of months but they are in danger of heading down with a whimper after a three-match losing streak, following the March international break.

Sunderland preview: Could do with a response

Sunderland have been in the hunt for potential European qualification but the Black Cats need to bounce back after a woeful performance against Nottingham Forest, whereby they were beaten 5-0 at the Stadium of Light last week.

Regis Le Bris and his Wearsiders begin the match day sitting just outside of the top eight and the possible European spots ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures, having now endured back-to-back losses.

Wolves team news: Mosquera returns

Centre-back Yerson Mosquera has returned from suspension for this weekend’s visit of Sunderland after being unavailable due to a recent two-match ban.

Czechia international defender Ladislav Krejci will miss out again, while goalkeepers Jose Sa and Sam Johnstone are sidelined so Dan Bentley will take his place between the sticks.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Bentley; Mosquera, S. Bueno, Toti; Lima, Andre, J. Gomes, H. Bueno; Mane, R. Gomes; Armstrong

Unavailable: Sa (Injured), Johnstone (Injured), Krejci (Injured), Gonzalez (Injured), Chiwome (Injured)

Questionable: Krejci (Injured)

Sunderland team news: Attackers still pushing to return

Sunderland have been dealing with the absence of Simon Moore and Romaine Mundle for awhile now.

Jocelin Ta Bi does appear to be closer to a return and could be involved here, while Nilson Angulo and Bertrand Traore may also feature but it is likelier they will be back next week.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Roefs; Mukiele, Ballard, Alderete, Reinildo; Xhaka, Sadiki; Rigg, Diarra, Le Fee; Brobbey

Unavailable: Moore (Injured), Mundle (Fitness)

Questionable: Ta Bi (Fitness), Angulo (Fitness), Traore (Fitness

Wolves vs Sunderland prediction

Sunderland head to Staffordshire needing to bounce back, especially with Le Bris reportedly, somehow, under pressure for his job if they miss out on Europe. Wolves are fading towards the end of the campaign, albeit they can ensure things remain tight and so a low-scoring away win would appear the likely outcome for this one at Molineux.

Wolves vs Sunderland tip: Sunderland to win & under 3.5 goals
