West Ham preview: Fighting Irons

West Ham United could only manage a goalless draw with Crystal Palace in a London derby on Monday, with the Hammers sitting two points clear of the bottom three and the relegation places.

The Irons appeared dead and buried at the turn of the year but there has been a major improvement in the last few months, punishing the catastrophic form of rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton preview: Still in the hunt

Everton still have a chance of UEFA Champions League qualification this season, especially with sixth potentially being enough if Aston Villa do go on to win the UEFA Europa League.

However, the Toffees did suffer a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Liverpool in the first Merseyside Derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with a Virgil van Dijk winner deep into second-half stoppage-time.

West Ham team news: Nothing fresh

Veteran goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski remains the only absentee for West Ham with Nuno Espirito Santo able to name an unchanged team here.

Interestingly, Nuno preferred Kyle Walker-Peters over Aaron Wan-Bissaka away at Crystal Palace with Pablo also starting in behind Taty Castellanos.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Hermansen; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Disasi, Diouf; Soucek, Fernandes; Bowen, Pablo, Summerville; Castellanos

Unavailable: Fabianski (Injured)

Everton team news: Branthwaite and Beto out

In his pre-match press conference, David Moyes confirmed that in-form striker Beto is now sidelined for the visitors due to a concussion.

Jarrad Branthwaite was in tears when he sustained an injury that forced him off against Liverpool and the England international is expected to be sidelined for the rest of this season.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Armstrong, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Barry

Unavailable: Grealish (Injured)

West Ham vs Everton prediction

The performance level of Everton has improved of late but the Toffees have been frustrated by streaks throughout the campaign - and there will be a concern that another poor streak has started last weekend. West Ham are desperate and this has the potential to erupt into a cup tie-like end-to-end game with three points crucial for both so both teams scoring seems a good bet.

West Ham vs Everton tip: Both teams to score
