The prediction
The West Coast Eagles host St Kilda in the last matchup of Round 10. The Eagles suffered another narrow defeat going down to Richmond 81-79 in Round Nine. They remain winless on the season and stuck in 18th position at the foot of the ladder.
St Kilda’s momentum was halted by Carlton who recorded a 77-62 victory at the MCG. The Saints had previously disposed of the Dockers in comprehensive style, so this match represents a chance to show if last week was a momentary lapse or a developing trend.
St Kilda have won the last four meetings between the two sides including two victories in 2024, one of which was a 12-goal thumping. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera continued to add to his impressive resume with 30 disposals against Carlton including eight marks. Goals for the Eagles have been tough to come by, but Jamie Cripps did his best against Richmond with three majors.
We think that the Saints can travel west and come away with the points in this one.
