West Brom vs Blackburn prediction

With two games of last season to go, West Bromwich Albion parted company with manager Tony Mowbray and he has now eventually been replaced by former Tottenham Hotspur player Ryan Mason. The Baggies have been reasonably quiet in the window, but will be expected to challenge for the top six this season.

They now face a Blackburn Rovers side that were in disarray as recently as March, but the Lancastrians managed to propel themselves towards the top six with an excellent run of form late on. Rovers now have Ismael having had a full pre-season to get his extreme tactical ideas into place for the this season.

West Brom are likely going to have to take time to develop Mason’s style of football, whilst Ismael is known for a more reactive and defensive approach so a low-scoring affair seems likely.

West Brom vs Blackburn tip: Under 2.5 goals
