Preston North End may just be breaking out of their slump following a morale boosting Saturday lunchtime win over fellow North West strugglers Blackburn Rovers last time out. Paul Heckingbottom’s side had lost four from four prior to that game and now travel to Hertfordshire with some much-needed momentum and confidence behind them.
Watford FC have endured a really tough time of things since their opening weekend win over Southampton, picking up just two points from their following four games. This is a golden opportunity for Preston to kick the Hornets whilst they are down and it’s well worth backing the Lilywhites to take at least a point, if not all three away from Vicarage Road.
