Verona vs Como prediction

Verona’s surprise 1-1 draw away at Juventus in the previous round of fixtures wasn’t enough to save them from being confirmed as relegated with Lecce beating Pisa. With only three wins from 35 league matches, they can’t really complain after what has been an awful season for them. You have to go all the way back to March 8 for their last Serie A victory.

Como on the other hand, are trying to secure European football under Cesc Fabregas and the big question really at this point is what competition will they play in. Whilst the Champions League is starting to look beyond them, Como are still in with more than a chance of a Europa League spot with the Conference League certainly not a bad consolation prize.

Heads will no doubt be down in the Verona camp following their relegation and Como are in a good space to capitalise. Whilst results have been inconsistent of late, they are a far better team than the hosts and that is expected to be reflected in the result of this one.
