Valencia vs Real Madrid prediction

Following the appointment of former Mexico boss Javier Aguirre, Valencia have again continued to struggle but Los Che did end their four-match winless run since his appointment with a regional derby defeat of Elche last weekend at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero last week, courtesy of a 69th minute winner scored by Umar Sadiq.

Jose Mourinho and his Real Madrid side entertainingly came from behind to defeat AEK Athens in the UEFA Champions League in midweek with a late Kylian Mbappe winner. Los Blancos have now enjoyed a seven-match winning streak across all competitions as they begin the match day three points behind league leaders Barcelona at the top.

Real Madrid have found real cohesion of late, especially without Vinicius Junior but the Brazilian has returned from suspension and was involved in perhaps their poorest performance for a while against AEK the other day. If Mourinho makes the big call to omit him, which he should and probably will, then backing Madrid again is the way to go.
