USA vs Germany prediction

Under pressure from the off, Mauricio Pochettino has endured a fairly tough time of it as the head coach of the USMNT. The Stars and Stripes put in one of their best performances under Pochettino last week as they defeated Senegal by three goals to two.

They now face four-time world champions Germany who, with Julian Nagelsmann at the helm, come into this one on the back of eight successive victories after their 4-0 hammering of Finland, scoring 26 goals in those matches.

This is a step up on Finland for Die Mannschaft but they won’t change their style and USA’s performance last week would suggest this could again be quite an entertaining encounter for the neutral at Soldier Field in Chicago.
