Dennis Buzukja (12-5) is aiming for his second win in the Octagon and he will be looking to bounce back from a split decision loss to Francis Marshall last time out. His last fight was over 18 months again as he has served a nine-month suspension following an altercation with a fan at UFC 310 in December 2024.
Marcio Barbosa: KO specialist aiming to make debut splash
Marcio Barbosa (17-2) makes his UFC debut after earning his shot via Dana White’s Contender Series and the Brazilian knockout specialist will be aiming to make a splash here. Only one of his 19 professional MMA fights have gone the distance and 14 of his 17 wins have come via knockout.

This is an intriguing fight between the more experienced man, Buzukja, at this level, and a knockout specialist who is making his UFC debut in Barbosa.
Barbosa is a fiery fighter who either knocks opponents out or can be knocked out himself which is how both losses on his resume have come.
He has one of those typically wild styles that will make for an enthralling fight for however long it lasts, which is unlikely to be too long.
There is every chance he gets caught in any of his fights but we like Barbosa to take advantage of Buzukja’s time out of action and we back him to win for KO/TKO.
