Torino vs Sassuolo prediction

Whilst they’ve left it too late to break into the European places, Sassuolo are finishing the season strong. They’ve just dealt a blow to AC Milan’s race for the Champions League by beating them 2-0, whilst also getting the better of Como across the past few weeks. With seven points from the last nine available to them, a top-half finish is more than likely.

Torino are now firmly entrenched in mid-table mediocrity. Relegation isn’t a worry with them being 13 points ahead of the bottom three but they’ve now failed to win since defeating Verona back on April 11, with two draws and a loss to Udinese since then. They’ll want a positive result here though in front of their fans.

However, Sassuolo are playing significantly better football right now and are defensively strong enough to cause extreme frustration for the hosts. Coming off the back of consecutive clean sheets, it would be no surprise to see the visitors shut out Torino and with Sassuolo having impressed far more over the past few rounds of fixtures, they are well worth backing to gain at least a point if not all three.

Torino vs Sassuolo tip: Double chance - draw/Sassuolo
