THE PREDICTION

World number seven Stefanos Tsitsipas is through to the semi-finals of the European Open with little fuss after a sraight0sets victory over Yannick Hanfmann. The 25-year-old won the Los Cabos 250 back in August but he had failed to win back-to-back matches since then to look very vulnerable coming into Antwerp. Breaking that streak will help the former number three but this will be his toughest test yet against rising star Arthur Fils, who will set a new career-high ATP world ranking of 37th after reaching his fifth semi-final on tour this season - three now on indoor hardcourts. The 19-year-old conceded just three games to Juan Pablo Varillas on Friday to back up a solid opener on Wednesday and he will be desperate to produce his best in this first encounter with the Greek, with Antwerp likely to pull almost totally for the underdog. Back Tsitsipas to edge through to the final or avoid the result with at least one tiebreak in the match between two heavy hitters.
