The Russian has improved with each passing round from qualifying through to the semi-finals and the chance of reaching a first ever final on tour should see him very competitive in this first meeting with Kecmanovic. The Serb remains the favourite on experience but backing Kotov to earn at least a set could be the shrewd way to avoid the result.
