World number 40 Miomir Kecmanovic conceded just one game to Jurij Rodionov in a statement result on Thursday and the Serb should take some serious beating at the Estoril Open. 23-year-old Kecmanovic won his only ATP title to date at the similarly-sized Kitzbuhel Open back in 2020 and after improving his all-court game over the last few years he looks an even better player on his favoured clay. World number 43 Bernabe Zapata Miralles is certainly one of the more specialised clay-courters on tour but he proved himself a real threat in these conditions by coming back from a set down to stun second seed Hubert Hurkacz. The Spaniard reached the round of 16 at Roland-Garros last summer and he has improved since then to look a genuine title contender here. Back Kecmanovic to earn at least a set given his ruthlessness so far but leaving this result up to chance looks the sensible move.
