THE PREDICTION
24-year-old Daniil Medvedev was not the world-beater he is now when he last played and lost to Filip Krajinovic in the Spring of 2019. Now the world number four is winning straight-set matches at reduced capacity so far at the Australian Open and comes into this third round tie on a 16-match winning streak. Medvedev has reached the final of a Grand Slam before, at the US Open in 2019, and it should take an elite player to knock him out in this form. Filip Krajinovic is good enough to take a set here but if he pushes Medvedev harder than he has been tested this tournament he is likely to respond even harder. Straight-sets for the world number four here looks the most likely outcome.
