The prediction

The Fremantle Dockers were superb in an 18-point victory against the Adelaide Crows last week. This comes off the back of possibly their worst performance of the season in a 10-point defeat against the Melbourne Demons in Round Six.

St Kilda on the other hand have now suffered heavy defeats in their past three matches. Defeats to the Giants, Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions has seen the Saints fall back to the middle of the pack with just the three wins for the season and 13th spot on the ladder.

The two sides have been neck and neck in their past eight match ups; four wins each, the most recent being a low scoring St. Kilda win in round 10 last year. As is the case with many Ross Lyon coached sides, low scoring matches appear frequently, and this one has a similar feel.

In terms of statistics Caleb Serong retains his usual place in the top 10 possession winners while the Saints trio of Jack Sinclair, Jackson McRae and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera all sit in the top 25 of the league, averaging over 24 disposals per match.

We think that the Dockers, despite having to travel east again this week, can take this one in another low scoring contest.
