Spain vs Nigeria prediction

Nigeria are a good reliable U-20s squad who consistently represent Africa on this big stage, qualifying for each of the last 12 U-20 Women’s World Cup tournaments. But they’ve been dealt a tough hand to start here against Spain, whose young player pathway continues to be as strong as ever despite a surprised quarter-final exit back in 2024.

Possession will be dominated by Spain as you would expect and their ability to pass Nigeria into submission through fatigue and any small lapse in concentration. Over the course of 90 minutes, the European giants should eventually break through and win by more than one goal.

Spain vs Nigeria tip: Spain to win with -1 handicap
