Southampton vs Swansea City prediction
Swansea City are now one of just Championship clubs remaining yet to have tasted defeat in 2026-27, with draw specialists Birmingham City the other. The Swans are now top of the table, with 11 points from a possible 15 to begin the campaign. That unbeaten run will face a big test here though with Southampton welcoming them to St Mary's.
The Saints are four unbeaten since the opening weekend, but have drawn their last two. You’d suspect they wouldn’t be massively upset with a similar result this time around when considering how well Swansea have been playing and Southampton are very much capable of matching them with the players at their disposal. Two of Swansea’s last four have ended level and backing the same outcome on this occasion is a move worth making.
