South Africa vs Nicaragua prediction

With Hugo Broos having named his South African squad for this summer on Wednesday, South Africa are now getting down to business with a limited side that are missing several key Mamelodi Sundowns players, who were in the CAF Champions League final last week.

Nicaragua come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Russia in an international friendly back in March. That means that the Central Americans have won just one, at home to Honduras, of their last eight matches.

Nicaragua haven’t avoided defeat when not at home since a 1-1 draw with Puerto Rico in June 2025 and the South Africans should come out on top in Johannesburg.
