Slovakia vs Montenegro prediction

Coached by Maurizio Sarri’s former assistant Francesco Calzona, Slovakia come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Malta in their most recent outing. The Slovakians are an entertaining watch, as shown by their UEFA playoff semi-final for FIFA World Cup 2026, whereby they were beaten 4-3 by Kosovo in Bratislava.

They now face a Montenegro side that have been regressing for a couple of years or so. The Montenegrins did manage to earn themselves a rare victory in Sofia the other day as they defeated Bulgaria by a goal to nil.

Montenegro have shown slight improvement in their last few games but Slovakia have to remain firm favourites for this one in Kosice on Friday evening.
