Two of Africa’s smaller sides in terms of international football face off against each other in an international friendly this week as Sierra Leone take on Liberia.

Sierra Leone vs Liberia prediction

Sierra Leone come into this one on the back of starting their year with a FIFA Series defeat to Azerbaijan, losing on penalties in Azerbaijan after a 1-1 draw. They had finished their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a defeat of Djibouti in November.

They now face a Liberia side that, coached by Thomas Kojo, extended their winless run of form to four matches in March as they succumbed to a slender 1-0 loss to Benin before a relatively entertaining 2-2 draw against Libya.

While they are winless in four matches, Liberia have lost two of their last six matches and a low-scoring encounter seems a decent bet for this one between two relatively evenly matched sides.
