Sheffield United vs Bolton Wanderers prediction

Bolton Wanderers fell to their first league defeat of the season on Saturday, a lack of cutting edge in front of goal costing them dearly as Lincoln City got the better of them by a goal to nil, Steven Schumacher’s side have now failed to score in back-to-back games and it doesn’t get any easier for them, with the Whites travelling to Sheffield United.

The Blades are firmly mid-table with three points and three consecutive draws. Following back-to-back shutouts, Chris Wilder’s men finally found their shooting boots this past weekend in Wales but it wasn’t enough to win as Cardiff secured a 2-2 draw. Expect them to have plenty of the ball and create plenty of chances though against a Bolton side who played extremely conservatively last time out on the road, picking up a goalless draw away at QPR. But it’s difficult to see them surviving another 90 minutes playing like that and the expectation is that Sheffield United will wind up too strong.
