Sassuolo vs Torino prediction
Sassuolo lost manager Fabio Grosso to Fiorentina over the summer, replacing him with Alberto Aquilani. Expecting to challenge for the European spots this season, Sassuolo succumbed to a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Atalanta at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo last weekend.
Torino, with former AC Milan full-back Ignazio Abate now at the helm, started the 2026-27 Serie A season with a defeat of their own. Up against Ruben Amorim’s AC Milan, they succumbed to a 2-1 loss at Olimpico di Torino with Scotland international striker scoring a late consolation for Torino.
Torino are expected to become more proactive this season but they do lack quality and Sassuolo will have to fancy themselves here with their home advantage.
