THE PREDICTION
Perpignan won their opening Challenge Cup fixture at home to Dragons two weeks ago and that maintains a now three-match winning streak across all competitions at home. All four of their Top 14 wins have come on home soil so far and they have a slim chance at making that five here with travelling Castres winless in their last six matches on the road. Castres are going well overall in the division with a superb home record and they were pretty impressive in their two Champions Cup defeats at home to Harlequins and away at Munster, with no more than seven points difference in their last four losses. Taking hosts Perpignan to just hold on with a head-start of +3 seems a reasonable option here but given the uncertainty on attendances and Castres’ recent form it seems wiser to take the away side to edge this.
