Pau were handed a huge spot of luck with a default victory over Saracens in the Challenge Cup due to their opponents’ covid-19 cases. They lost 17-33 at home to London Irish in their other fixture but they have fared pretty well at home to Top 14 sides, winning four of their six domestic matches here. Travelling Brive have not played a competitive fixture for almost a month after their Boxing Day fixture became the latest to be postponed and they have lost six of their last seven Top 14 matches. Pau should be targeting a win by at least a try and that makes covering -7 a reasonable option.
