THE PREDICTION

An intriguing clash takes place in Nantes as the French welcome Fiji for what promises to be a highly entertaining affair. Several of the Fiji squad ply their trade in France so there will be plenty of familiarity between the two sets of players but it does represent a really good test for the French stylistically. The coach Fabien Galthie was not overly impressed with the performance of his men in the win over Scotland last time out and he is keeping his entire group of players on their toes by not naming his World Cup squad yet. While there are many changes in this line-up, the French are still lining up strong and they should have too much attacking flair for the Fijians.
