James Wade vs Stephen Bunting prediction
James Wade gained revenge on Joe Cullen for last year's World Grand Prix defeat by seeing off Rockstar in three sets, but he had to win six of the last eight legs after making a sluggish start to their first-round contest.
Wade's second-round opponent, Stephen Bunting, held off the challenge of Andrew Gilding in his own opener and now takes on Wade at the World Grand Prix for the first time since 2021, when the Bullet won 3-1.
Wade is a two-time winner of this event and has shown more quality in recent months than Bunting has, though. Judging by the form book, this one is likely to go the way of the Machine.
