Anastasia Potapova vs Sinja Kraus prediction

Anastasia Potapova impressed at the US Open in her most recent event, advancing to the round-of-16 at Flushing Meadows for the first time in her career. She got past Darja Semenistaja and Leolia Jeanjean before producing a fantastic display to beat 2025 finalist Amanda Anisimova. She was a set away from a first Grand Slam quarter-final, but went on to lose to Mirra Andreeva. She received a bye in round one and now takes on Sinja Kraus. The 24-year-old got past Maya Joint in the opening round. Joint entered the event on the back of a final in Seoul, but it was Kraus who took control as she went a set and a break up. Joint fought back and won the second, but the Austrian served it out at the second attempt to win 6-3 3-6 7-5.

Kraus actually leads the head-to-head 1-0 after a win in Madrid qualifying this year, but Potapova has risen up the rankings since that point.
