The Ukrainian controlled the match and did not concede a break point, winning 6-3 6-4. This was her first victory since Wimbledon and a significant improvement on her recent hard court results.

She faces Maja Chawalinska. The Roland Garros finalist found form at the Singapore Open last week, advancing to the last four.
