THE PREDICTION

Penrith Panthers were able to get the better of Wests Tigers despite resting all of their Origin stars as they extended their lead at the top of the ladder. The minor premiership is now all but sewn up thanks to the Panthers winning their last eight games but this will be a test for them against top four rivals Cronulla Sharks. The road team have won their last five after overcoming a strong North Queensland Cowboys outfit and while this will be difficult for them to extend that winning streak, they can push the Panthers close so it is worth siding with the away side with the aid of a +14.5 start on the handicap.
